This month's Bark About will take hikers to the Pacific Crest Scenic Trail to explore one of the less than scenic aspects of it, energy transmission corridors. Bark Volunteer Zac Mallon will be discussing issues surrounding a newly proposed Cascade Crossing Transmission Project which would cross through the Clackamas Ranger district. Also on the plate for this 3-4 mile round trip hike are wildflowers and close up views of Mt Hood, we are in the woods to have fun after all!
