Please check this carpool page and do your best to share rides! Parking can be challenging and we strive to reduce the fossil fuel used in getting to camp. Thank you!

FROM PORTLAND! (if you are coming from south of Portland you may want to this alternate route: taking OR-224 through Estacada instead).

Take I-84 E/US-30 E to exit 16 for 238th Dr toward Wood Village. Go 0.3 mile.

Use any lane to turn right onto NE 238th Dr. Go 1.0 mile.

Continue onto NE 242nd Dr for 1.8 miles.

Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto NE Burnside Rd. Go 0.7 mile.

Continue straight onto US-26 E, continue into Mt. Hood National Forest. Go 49.8 mi (~1 hr). Get gas at Government Camp or at the last gas station before reaching Forest Rd. 42/Oregon Skyline Rd, the Chevron next to Mt. Hood Summer Ski Camp.

Turn right onto NF-42/Oregon Skyline Rd. You'll pass the Skyline Sno-Park parking lot. Stay on NF-42/OR Skyline Rd and go 8.3 miles.

Pass Joe Graham horse camp on the left and arrive at Clackamas Lake. Follow signs to Timothy Lake. Go 3.4 miles.

Drive along Timothy Lake for 1.7 miles then take a left onto road 5740, just past the Pine Point Day use area. If you drive over the Timothy Lake dam you've gone too far.

Drive down the 5740 until you cross a small bridge over Stone Creek.

Look for a red letter “B”.  Carefully pull off the road to park and ask a camp host about the best place to leave your vehicle.
