LNG Opponents Stage Rally Against NW Natural

Continuing the use of the orange banner, Barkers reminded Portlanders the minimum-width of the permanent clearcut proposed through 47 miles of Mt. Hood National Forest.


About 70 people rallied outside the NW Natural shareholder's meeting at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. Holding signs and loudly stating their opposition to the liquefied natural gas (LNG) development in Oregon, the rally brought attention to Portlander's, the threats to Oregon's farms, rivers and Mt. Hood's old growth forests.
