The truth is, we can't do this alone.

Mt. Hood’s future is still unwritten

Bark Winter Campaign Thermometer

Hi Barkers,

This past year I’ve been so encouraged by the constant vigilance of our community of forest defenders. We are a force to be reckoned with! We’ve made certain that public forests like Mt. Hood won’t come under the chopping block to feed biomass generators for Portland or Multnomah County and we’ve saved 1,195 acres across Mt. Hood.

Make a donation today to help us build on this momentum!

As we begin a new year it is crucial that we bring an even larger community to the table to envision a future where the forest is managed for the benefit of us all. That’s why in 2018 we’re organizing the 2nd annual People’s Forest Forum, more groundtruthing, policy, and organizing trainings, listening sessions with community groups, and more time in the forest with decision-makers.

The emboldened extractive industries are capitalizing on outdated forest management priorities and an anti-science political atmosphere. They may have an ally in the White House, but they do not have the support of the people.
