Bridge Action: Protest the Nestle water grab!

Thursday, April 16, 2015 - 7:00am to 9:00am

The door is opening for Nestlé's proposed bottling plant in the Columbia River Gorge. This will be the first time the state has actively facillitated the sale of public water for bottling; risking the permanent loss of Oxbow Springs as a public water source. We need to act now.

Bark is calling on supporters to push our law makers to act immediately to protect Oregon's public waters.

Wednesday, April 15th at the Bark office (537 SE Ash St. #206 Portland, OR 503-331-0374) from 5:00PM-7:00PM: Meet up to create signs and banners for the protest on Thursday morning. Bring any materials you have to spare.

Thursday, April 16th under the Hawthorne Bridge on the east side, near the esplanade pedestrian/bike approach to the bridge at 7:00AM-9:00AM: WEAR BLUE to represent our public waters. This will be a bridge action targeting our community as they are traversing the Hawthorne bridge.
