December Bark About Hike: Lost Roads of Fish Creek

Date:
Sunday, December 8, 2019 - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Join hike leaders Audie Fuller and Tara Hershberger for our December Bark About to the lost roads of Fish Creek. In 1996, devastating floods removed many of the roads and bridges in this area, and now Fish Creek is home to one of the largest whole watershed restoration projects undertaken in the United States. The forest is beautiful this time of year, so don't let the cold keep you indoors!

Please be prepared to hike off trail, and be prepared for cold weather and possibly snow.

Carpools leave from the Hollywood Grocery Outlet, 4420 Ne Hancock Street, (a few blocks from the Hollywood Transit Center, at the I-84 exit 2) in Portland at 9am sharp. If you are able to drive, we greatly appreciate your contribution to helping make a successful hike. If you are looking for a ride, please come prepared to reimburse your driver.  If you would like to arrange a meet-up closer to the forest, please let us know by giving us a call at our number below.

Bring a lunch, water, and anything else you'll need to stay comfortable in the forest. To protect off-trail resources, we ask you to leave your dog at home.

Call Bark at 503-331-0374 for more details and information.

If you are willing to drive in our carpool, please review Bark's Driver Safety Expectations before coming.
