Hike Leader Training
Do you have a depth of knowledge you feel could benefit the community? Or do you know a little about everything in the forest? Since the beginning of Bark we have held volunteer-led, community-building, awareness-spreading hikes. This training will give you the tools you need to lead a Bark Out walk with Bark and continue this long tradition, including trip planning, brief first aid, and creating a compelling hike.
The location of the training itself will be indoors at Bark’s Office at 351 NE 18th Avenue, Portland, Or. 97232. This event will be classroom-style learning so bring a pencil and paper. Gender-neutral restrooms will be available.
