March Ecology Club: Wildlife Tracking w/Cascadia Wild

Date:
Wednesday, March 13, 2019 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

This month Cascadia Wild joins us to talk about their wildlife tracking program and the amazing work that they do for the critters of Mt Hood! Cascadia Wild is a Portland-based non-profit dedicated to connecting local people with local ecosystems. They combine modern ecological methods with the ancient practices of living with nature. This will be a great opportunity to learn about the wild creatures that call Mt. Hood their home.

About Ecology Club: Join us on the second Wednesday of each month to discuss an ecological theme that pertains to Bark’s work on Mt Hood or seasonal skills to give the community a deeper appreciation and understanding of NW ecology. Some months we will have presenters sharing their skill or knowledge with the community. Others, we will work as a group on a predetermined theme to discuss a broader topic, such as "thinning", fire ecology, wildflowers, birds, road ecology, or other topics the group is inclined to discuss.
